  • 9 Signs You've Met "The One"

According to a recent article, here is what they have said about finding "The One."  Let me know if

you can relate, you disagree, you want to add on.  ENJOY!!

Can you ever really know whether you’ve met “the one”? Unfortunately, there isn’t a foolproof litmus test, but you can be fairly confident in your relationship if you notice these nine signs that are characteristic of a really special connection between two people.

    1) You’re Not Chasing the Relationship’s Potential

Many people have romantic relationships fraught with obstacles. On a basic level, the relationship is satisfactory, but there always seems to be something standing in the way of true happiness: a stressful job, an annoying ex, a distasteful habit. Both people feel that once the obstacle is removed, they’ll be truly content together.

The heart is an institution with one condition:

    To love and be loved.

Strength, humility, in times of humiliation,
pump on to seek that stimulated gratification.

    Reciprocation is its hunger,
mirroring the life of a rock,
            a foundation,
                to form an indestructible diamond,
                   shining in glory.

How ironic it's fragile when natural,
        bleeds uncontrollably to thrive,
in a critical state when time depreciates.

Never the immortal, the only constant is its infinite appetite.

    My response:

Religion is our explanation of the unexplainable.  "God is omnipresent" is what I've been told repeatedly.  I came to realize, after experiencing several churches, that it's your own relationship with God that matters.  No congregation, or club, can tell you where you belong or not.  And as for the The Book, the teachings, and the services, those just hope to help us put a face to things.

Yes, some of the scriptures don't make sense, and maybe the whole thing is fictional, but preaching the glory after hardship isn't necessarily a bad thing.  Having the hope of, with a lack of a better word, reward for good deeds isn't too far fetched of an ideal either.  But there are things that are left unanswered, feats not recognized, yet hope can lift us, and for most, that's all is needed.

It's the belief in a greater ending that puts value in what we do everyday.  Religion is our road map, but Google can always give us alternate routes to lead us to the same destination.
